Join us for an embroidery workshop, expect a hands-on evening where I’ll teach you techniques to embellish textiles using reclaimed materials.
You’ll walk away with an embroidered bookmark and the skills to take on similar projects at home.
You’ll be able to select from a range of bookmarks made from carefully sourced secondhand textiles.
There will also be reclaimed ribbons and lace available for you to add to your bookmark.
Hosted at WEST On The Green, with their drinks and food available to purchase on the night.
You are welcome to come along alone or with friends for an evening of mindful hand sewing.
A embroidered bookmark completely personal and unique to you.
You will be taught a variety of embroidery techniques to embellish textiles.
No experience necessary, just come along and learn, I’ll guide you through the process and help build up your confidence.
Everything you need for the workshop will be provided on the day.
There will be a selection of bookmarks and embroidery threads to choose from, as well as all the necessary equipment for embroidery.
You will also be given printed instructions which you can keep for future reference.
All textiles and threads have been carefully sourced second hand and checked thoroughly for quality.
Please note this workshop is suitable for ages 16+
